Really nice work from Ontario based producer Elaquent. As the album
title suggest, "The Scenic Route" takes you on a journey of great
imagery with the right amount of soul & electronics. Gritty at
moments, smooth at others. Not too heavy on the "neo" & not overdone
with glitchiness. This is what makes the difference between a finished
album & a beat tape. Although mostly instrumental, the album
features collabs with emcee Coincidence, singer Kae, & trumpter
Octavio Santos.
